About Camp Osprey
Nurse-founded, screen-free, and built on 204 acres of Florida adventure.
Where Kids Discover
What They're Made Of
Camp Osprey was founded in 2018 by Sandy & Gary Bembry — and built on a simple belief: kids grow the most when they unplug, step outside, and discover their own strength.
A Registered Nurse at the Helm
Sandy Bembry is a registered nurse and a mother of five sons. That combination — a clinician's eye for safety and a mom's heart for kids — shapes everything at Camp Osprey, from how we vet our staff to how we care for campers each day.
Small by Design
We keep enrollment limited on purpose. Every camper is known by name. Every counselor is like a big brother or sister. This isn't a mega-camp — it's a place that feels like a second home.
Screen-Free on Purpose
No phones, no devices, no distractions — just real-world adventure. Going screen-free helps campers be fully present, make genuine friendships, and soak up every single moment of their week.
Faith-Based, Family Welcoming
Camp Osprey is a non-denominational Christian camp, with a Sunday service each week that reflects our faith-based values. All families are welcome here, no matter their background.
