A DAY IN THE LIFE AT CAMP OSPREY

Our campers will find nutritious, healthy, fresh, child friendly food and plenty of it! A wide choice of options ensures that even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like. Meals are prepared by our dedicated team of cooks and kitchen staff and served in our air conditioned lodge. Fresh fruit and water or Gatorade are available to campers every day. All of the outdoor activity and exercise ensures a good appetite! Campers also receive a bedtime snack which is often made by our cooking class that day.

Nutrition

Security

At Camp Osprey, we believe that camp should provide opportunities for kids to try activities and challenges that they would not experience at home or school. Whether it's our challenge course, zipline, water sports, or horseback riding, we want to ensure that each one of these activities is as safe as possible. Our challenge course and zipline have both been rebuilt this year and are even more fun! Adventures.org inspects and certifies all of our ropes courses, zipline, and equipment to be sure that they are in proper working order. This company also extensively trains and certifies our staff who work the challenge course and zipline.

Our camp is secured with automatic gates that remain locked to the general public.

All staff and camp counselors are background checked and we work to make sure that our ratio of campers to counsellors is perfectly matched to the number of registered campers.

All of our campers are required to wear life jackets when canoeing. Our lifeguards are Red Cross certified in first aid, CPR, and AED training.

To make sure your child's experience with horses is safe and fun, they will ride only under direct adult supervision. Every camper is required to wear a helmet, long pants, and closed-toed shoes.
