My name is Sandy Bembry, and I have been married to Gary Bembry for 36 years. I am a registered nurse with years of experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, and Cardiac care. I have lived in this area since 1969, and I have been a school nurse for the School Board of Manatee County since 2010, serving in high school, middle school, elementary, and pre-k grade levels. I was also a part of the Manatee County Concussion Team. Additionally, I have worked as a camp nurse for several summers, which inspired me to open my own camp.

          As a mother of five active sons and a passionate advocate for children, my priority is to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children to grow and make treasured memories. I believe in the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child," and I promise to care for your children as if they were my own.

          I am a Christian, and I believe in the power of prayer. We often pray for every aspect of camp and hold a weekly, voluntary Bible study on-site. While we welcome campers and counselors from all faith backgrounds, our Christian faith is a driving force behind everything that we do. We will never force our beliefs on anyone, but we will share our faith if we are asked.
